OPERATING EQUIPMENT / MECHANIC: Position will operate, diagnose and repair heavy equipment. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:*** • Analyzing and diagnosing (troubleshooting) equipment malfunctions or failures. then fixing. • Repairing, replacing and/or rebuilding mechanical components, hydraulic components, and electrical systems. • Determining & ordering the correct parts needed to complete the task in a timely manner, as well as, returning all unused parts in a timely manner. • Communicating in a courteous and effective manner with the owner regarding all aspects of the work being performed.** • Must be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds Applicants must have some experience working on some makes and models of heavy equipment. Welding experience preferred. Must be assertive, a self-starter, and able to work without direct supervision. Must have a driver's license with a good driving record.
