WEST ISLIP, NY — A West Islip woman who was reported missing on Monday has been located and unharmed, Suffolk County Police said. Patricia Rubino, 67, was last seen leaving her Eaton Lane home at about 8:30 a.m. on Monday, and failed to appear at two doctor's appointments in West Islip later that morning, police said. Rubino has bipolar disorder, police said. Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
