CUMMING, GA — Interested in bringing home a new pet to snuggle with in Cumming? Now is the perfect time! That's because the Forsyth County Animal Shelter is waiving adoption fees through April 11 as part of its "Spring Fling" adoption special. Microchipping, altering and age-appropriate vaccinations are included, according to the shelter. Adoption fees are normally $85. The shelter is open for adoption Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-5 p.m. To fill out an adoption profile form, click one of the appropriate forms below: Dog Adoption FormCat Adoption Form Once the form is filled out in its entirety, email your profile to [email protected] and an adoption counselor will contact you to discuss the next steps in the adoption process and discuss any of the pets you may be interested in. You may also bring the form with you when you visit the shelter.
