Up for adoption is a four-year-old male Chestnut-fronted macaw (aka severe macaw). He belonged to my father who recently passed and needs a new home. He has been with us for less than a week so we are still getting to know each other. He likes to listen to music and move to the beat as well as eat treats like grapes or peanuts. We have been able to pick him up on occasion but he is still in the process of adapting to a new situation. He currently does not have a cage as we had to drive back from Utah with him and he is living in a spare room. The adoption fee is $3500 with proceeds going to my mother (we are willing to negotiate within reason to ensure he has the right home).
