Looking for a new home for my dog

This post is going to be a long one and I don’t want anyone harassing me or putting me down for this. I feel absolutely horrible about the situation and at a loss. About five months ago, my child was at his dad’s and he called and asked if we could keep this puppy he had obtained from one of his dad’s friends. I told him no because I simply don’t have the time to give a dog the life it needs. I work a lot and spend a lot of time away from home. When I went to pick my son up a few days later, I was basically told I had to take the puppy because he absolutely would not. I realized immediately why the puppy was pawned off on my young child because it is a Double Merle Aussie. I know that because I used to live on a farm and have seen this happen before unfortunately. I took the puppy in and decided that I would make it work because I knew he would be dumped or possibly killed for his condition. He is absolutely beautiful and I really have grown to love this dog so much, he can be so sweet and has a good personality. However, he has attempted to bite me over 4 times. Two of the times making contact with me and not penetrating my skin. He has also bit my child twice, one of the times penetrating his skin and putting holes in his leg. It was very traumatizing and as a mother I was distraught. I’ve been bit by a dog before on my foot and it was a very traumatizing experience, so every time this happens I am reminded of that and it makes me very scared just being in my house. He is deaf which makes training so difficult. I’ve never trained a dog with needs like this. I believe food aggression is the reason behind most of the bites and also he doesn’t like to be bothered when he’s laying down and my son doesn’t understand that. I really want him to go to a good home, someone who knows what they’re doing and could maybe help him. I can’t keep him, I don’t trust him anymore and I just know I never will. I don’t know if someone will even want a dog like this, but he really is so sweet and so goofy. I think because he’s inbred he just has some neurological things going on that he struggles with, plus being deaf. Please email me if interested or have any suggestions. Again I feel so terribly sad about this whole situation, I really was just trying to help him and give him a good home and life.
