Merchco Services, Inc. is a leading national provider of retail store development and services including project management, merchandising, fixture installation, graphics installation, customer millwork and logistics. We seek only those self-sufficient individuals that are highly motivated, extremely productive and drive to produce the highest quality results in a fast paced, demanding atmosphere. We are currently seeking experienced Retail Metal Fixture Installers (Lozier, Madix, etc.) to assist with a 15-18 week project of a well-known national retailer. The position requires, heavy lifting, reliable transportation, tools, and a checking account for direct deposit of pay. Experience with store remodels, store setup crews, big box retailers and/or new store openings is highly desired. *This position also comes with a possible spot on our traveling team at the end of the 18 weeks, if interested, providing you meet the requirements and performance standards. Duration: 15-18 weeks Schedule: You will be required to work 8-10 hour shifts, 5 days per week. Fixture knowledge: Construct or reconfigure with varieties of fixtures to manufacturer's specifications according to client needs. Installs graphical and decor elements per client instruction and guidelines. Unloads and categorizes all supplies, materials and fixtures utilized for the projects Qualifications: *Practical knowledge and use of hand and power tools *Must provide personal tools for your own use, i.e. tape measure, box blade, screwdriver, drills, saws, etc. *Ability to climb ladders of at least 10 feet or higher *Must be capable of working both days or overnight shifts when necessary *Ability to perform daily essential physical functions of lifting up to 60 pounds, bending, reaching, kneeling, etc. *Must be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner and uphold a professional appearance in an open store *Must be able to interact with general public *Must be able to complete general paperwork *Must have a clean background history report If you are highly motivated, thrive in a demanding atmosphere, love fast paced projects and would like to have an interesting position, apply here or complete an online application at www.workatmerchco.com
