I am a gen-x guitarist wanting to explore a kick-around band (absolutely not serious). Influences? (including) 4AD, Too Pure, Mute, Creation, Arts and Crafts, Rough Trade esp. UK, Canadian, Scandinavian, Icelandic scenes. Basically looking for like-minded musicians of similar age not interested in touring. I'm really into music so if you're into bands like The Armed, BMSR, EERA, Do Nothing, IDLES, Miynt, Megaphonic Thrift, shame, Mogwai, Autolux, PJ, Martina Topley-Bird, Wire, Bloc Party, Serena-Maneesh, BSS, Besnard Lakes, Pinkshinyultrablast, H. Grimace, Sunny Day in Glasgow, Massive Attack, mbv, Slowdive, Wedding Present, Pale Saints, Faith Healers, Lush, Interpol, Swervedriver, Ride, pls contact. Hope you're into playing in 5, 6, or 7, weird tunings/de-tunings, and capos, and love sonic quality better than VCVC soft soft soft stomp, we could be a fit. I write lyrics and can work with others' creative input. No commercial contacts. I don't care about age but no drugs or soap-dodgers or drama (drinking ok). Willing to join a band, if you'll have me.
