Undercover Crack Bust At Morris County ShopRite: Police

HANOVER, NJ - A 27-year-old ShopRite of Greater Morristown employee was charged with selling crack cocaine out of the store after an undercover operation, according to the Hanover Police Department. Andres Prudencio-Hernandez, of Morristown, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of CDS, and hindering one's apprehension, police said. According to authorities, Detective Dominic Kaiser initiated an undercover investigation into Prudencio-Hernandez where detectives and officers from Hanover Township monitored his activity over the course of a month, and on Sept. 17 when officers from the Hanover Police conducted simultaneous search warrants on both Prudencio-Hernandez at ShopRite and at his home in Morristown. Following the execution of those warrants Prudencio-Hernandez was charged in Hanover Township as well as charged in Morristown with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
