General warehouse cleaning, packing and shipping. We are a gourmet and industrial food ingredients warehouse and distribution business. We need someone clean, pack and prepare shipments for UPS, FedEx, and other types of carriers. We are a small company so all warehouse personnel are also involved in daily, weekly, and other general cleaning of our warehouse facility. We are food safety site certified, and food safety/sanitation is extremely important.
The candidate must be detail oriented, punctual and above all, must have utmost pride of work. Requirements: must speak/read/write English; must have/show valid work paper; must be able to lift at least 40 lbs; must be reliable, motivated, dependable, and be at work on time everyday. If you are meticulous, take pride in your work, reliable, come to work on time, take directions well but can also make common sense decisions, you're the one we're looking for. Ability to safely drive a side-standing forklift is a plus but not required. We will also accept part-time applicants but must be available between 6:30 and 3:30pm for at least 6 hours. Once trained and can work independently, the hours can be slightly altered to fit both our schedules.
