Description
I'm a harmonica player with 23 years experience blowing and drawing. I've done a fair amount of recording playing blues, rock, rockabilly and country. I've done gigs here and there and have either sat in or jammed at many of the finest dives in the LA area. I've sat in with performers at nicer spots such as The Smokehouse, Barones, Viva Cantina (RIP), Joe's, The Oyster House (RIP), Dresden Room and a few others. I'm quite versatile and one of my fondest memories was sitting in with a top Cuban Tres player and his jazz band at the Fat Cat (RIP) in New York. I can play most anything including hard driving rock, sweet mellow backing for jazz standard songs, Johnny Cash, Latin Jazz (hablo EspaƱol mas or menos), country classics and of course all types of blues. Pre pandemic I sat in often with a friend's amazing 80's new wave band where I fit in between the electric banjo, accordion and fiddle.... I'm looking for something from fun to serious. I do play some sax and have a trombone lurking. I enjoy reggae (saw Marley at the Roxy in 1975), Ska and lots of eclectic stuff that I know I can tackle. Not interested in Pink Floyd, Journey...I was part of the disco sucks movement. I have a full complement of harps, amps and mics. Looking to be a key ingredient in a musical recipe. Below was at a club in Hollywierd...I know, we should have rehearsed.....https://youtu.be/RNnmlP69Re4
