We are a private event space located in the Flatiron District seeking to hire experienced lobby hosts and hostesses to work part-time, with an expected 4 to 5 shifts a month. Shifts range from 5-7 hours each. Pay is $25 an hour paid weekly via PayPal. Friday evening and Saturday evening availability is a must. The lobby host/ess position is responsible for checking in guests via Google Sheets. Our building has two event spaces, so there will be nights where you will be checking in guests for two events. We provide a hostess podium, iPad, and chair. On nights where there are two events, you will be working with security to assist you with letting guests up to the appropriate venue. We are seeking to hire someone that is personable, detail-oriented, and can remain calm and focused during a rush of guests entering our building. Communication skills are also important in this role. Please include a resume and a brief description of your experience.
