Our client's data centers are the foundation upon which its software operates with efficient ease. In this role, you'll manage timelines, scope, and deliverables during the Data Center Design life cycle. Once the data center is in operation, you'll maintain an accurate set of engineering drawings to ensure the company's ability to operate—and maintain the reliability of–its compute infrastructure. You'll also help maintain and manage important documents and processes for our client's fleet of data centers, which are deployed globally. Scope, schedule, quality, resources, project risks, procurement, stakeholders, and communication management are all core aspects of the day-to-day tasks you'll manage and you'll be responsible for ensuring that the administrative, contractual, and technical aspects of assigned project(s) are being executed. As a Project Engineer (Data Centers), you'll: Coordinate regularly with internal and external teams to resolve project roadblocks.Manage project development for the entire lifecycle of the project from design to closeout.Work in tandem with the internal contracting team, supporting document upkeep efforts.Ensure that all appropriate design disciplines with work scope are engaged in development.Initiate and facilitate kickoff meetings with A/EOR to introduce project team, review design intent/basis of design, etc., and discuss or clarify project deliverables and expectations.Coordinate with external Design Team Project Manager on design review meetings.Coordinate the design deliverables timeline with the internal Construction team to ensure alignment with overall project schedule and provide feedback on potential risks.Maintain the company's documentation, such as specifications and other standards, and make it available to all stakeholders, internal and external.Coordinate regularly with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve project roadblocks. Ensure that all stakeholders buy into project decisions, while communicating deadlines and schedule. Have Weekly PM Sync with your A/EOR Counterpart to discuss and support process, schedule, changes.Manage relationships and participate in business reviews for external design engineer consultant partnerships with the Engineer-of-Record (EOR), vendors, etc.Initiate and facilitate design review meetings inclusive of external and internal stakeholders. Coordinate the design deliverables timeline to ensure alignment with overall project schedule and provide feedback on potential risks to project.
