What: Bartending 101put on by the Restaurant Opportunity Center of the Bay Where: ROC the Bay, 1419 34th Ave, Oakland, CA 94601 When: Orientation and 6 classes on Mondays from May 2-June 14 Register: BARTENDING 101: Introduction to the Bar This class will give students the basic knowledge and skills to help them become a barback, working their way up to bartending. The class will cover alcohol, wine & beer knowledge, alcohol & bartending laws, bar etiquette, garnishing and basic drink mixing. Each class session is held once a week for 6 weeks and each class runs for about 3-4 hrs. Students are required to attend all classes in a session Register here!
