New originals band forming

Looking for inspiration? Well I am too. After playing cover songs in bands pitched to the over 40s, forming originals band. Bass player here and have singer. Inspirations are varied but really like the positive, deep music coming out of Cali...Cali Roots. Rebelution, Stick Figure, Tobal Seeds and the like. My singer band mate says songs can practically write themselves with the right groove. I am willing to give it a try! Rehearse at Parallel Sound Studios in Newton, MA but open to other places. Looking to have fun and definitely have ambitions to play out. No band drama here. Just looking for simpatico players who will regurgitate if they have to play Honky Tonk Woman one more time. There is so much good music out there that is current. Time to explore.
