Southwest Door & Window Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver will be responsible for maintaining and accurate, neat and efficient warehouse facility, accurately receiving inbound shipments and staging outbound shipments for installer/customer pick up. He or she will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering all materials to the job site as dictated by the appropriate sales order. The warehouse associate/delivery driver will maintain a positive and professional manner within the Southwest Door & Window facility and while acting as the company’s agent in the field. Requirements: • High school diploma or GED is required • Must have 2+ years of relevant warehouse experience • Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record • Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds consistently • Must be able to read and write English fluently • Must be able to use simple math to perform inventory counts and for loading/unloading purposes • Must be forklift certified Qualifications: • Exhibit willingness to work hard, act with urgency and maintain a positive attitude • Comply with all company procedures, rules and regulations • Pass drug test • Pass physical abilities test for warehouse associate • Pass background check – all misdemeanors and felonies must be disclosed Core Functions and Duties: Shipping/Receiving: Receive all inbound (vendor) deliveries Unload, accurately count and quality check all in-bound deliveries Compare delivered materials to purchase order/acknowledgement Manage afternoon prep for pulling next-day install/pick up sales orders Safely and accurately pull materials as listed on sales order Warehouse: Assist in regular inventory count as directed by Warehouse Manager Maintain safe/clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallets, all workstations neat and organized Throw away all waste materials at the end of each day Assist in miscellaneous warehouse/office-related task as directed by Warehouse Manager Deliveries: Safely drive company vehicle on all deliveries/order pick ups Maintain communication with Warehouse Manager should issues arise during delivery process Act as a courteous agent of SDW at all times when on a jobsite Neatly and safely place all delivered materials in designated on-site location Company Information: Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Probationary period: first 90-days of employment
