Public Meetings Begin For RTD's May Service Changes

Public meetings and outreach events for the Regional Transportation District's May service changes began Wednesday. The proposed changes are part of a plan to address the ongoing operator shortage. Eighteen public meetings are being held across RTD's service district to help transportation officials gather feedback on the changes, which will impact the agency's bus, rail and special services. More details about the May service change, including a complete schedule of public meetings and a full list of proposed changes can be found here. Because meeting dates and times are subject to change, please check RTD's website for the latest details. The modifications are intended to help the agency better align its service with its current level of staffing, bringing relief to employees and providing riders with more reliable service. The public can provide input about the proposed May service changes through March 5. Input can also be emailed to [email protected]; or by faxing comments to 303-299-2227. RTD staff will be at 15 stations throughout February to provide information about the public meetings.
