General Laborer/ Heavy Equipment Operator/No Experience Needed Granite City Terminal is a small company that has had employees working here for decades and would love for you to join us. This is the perfect position for someone that has wanted to become a heavy equipment operator but hasn’t been able to find the opportunity. We will train you to load product onto semis using a front-end loader. We use a Bobcat and a forklift on a regular basis too. In the off season we do repairs to equipment, paint, grade roads, get ready for season, and general upkeep of the facility. Position Requirements include physical work. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb into equipment and shovel when need be. Pre-Employment drug screening is required. Health insurance is offered after 60 days. After one year, retirement is offered that matches 1%-3% yearly, paid vacation, paid sick days and paid holidays. Monday thru Friday are our normal days of operation, but we do work some Saturdays during planting season and they are required. Opportunities for overtime come up as well if your looking for a little extra. Hours are 7am to 4pm.
