Description
BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Roadwork is scheduled to begin Tuesday on Jay Road, between 63rd and 75th streets. Travel delays are expected between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, Boulder County Road Maintenance said.
The roadway, which will undergo paving and milling, is set to fully reopen Sept. 22.
During working hours, Jay Road will be reduced to one lane of traffic and flaggers will be used to move drivers and bicyclists safely through the construction zone, officials said. Both lanes will be open after 4 p.m each day.

The asphalt on the roadway will be milled, so surface conditions will be "less than ideal," officials said. Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
Boulder County has launched a public survey to gather feedback on plans for improvements to Jay Road between US 36 and CO 119 in north Boulder. Construction is expected to begin in the summer of 2021.
