Summary: Oversees event functions and warehouse responsibilities including but not limited to loading/unloading equipment, tracking inventory, supervising field employees (helpers and ride operators), assist with general maintenance on equipment, cleaning and sanitization of equipment, ordering of inventory to re-stock. Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however, other duties may be assigned. The duties listed below are essential functions of the position. 1. Performs works required for the set-up, loading/unloading of equipment with special attention to safety. 2. Receives and reviews all job tickets and any special instructions assigned from the office before leaving for a job. 3. Oversees helpers/ride operators and assigns work duties per instructions from owner/senior supervisor/management to ensure a smooth operation of the event. 4. Always maintains attentive position by standing, walking, and sitting (on some occasions) and observing guests, staff, children, clients and/or customers on any equipment, rides, inflatable, games, etc. 5. Delivers equipment and services to various locations in a timely manner and in accordance with applicable state, local, and DOT regulations 6. Assures any rental agreements and documentation are reviewed and signed with the customer and any balances owed are collected prior to setting up event. 7. Interacts in a positive manner with guests, children, clients and/or customers to provide outstanding customer service. 8. Keeps all job sites clean, providing a safe environment during and after the events. 9. Returns to the warehouse to close-out job tickets per the instructions received from management and if necessary, records all staff end times. Makes sure all trailers, trucks are parked safely in their designated spots. 10. Coordinates with owner/senior supervisor/management to immediately report any vehicle damage, loss of inventory, equipment, guest, staff or event issues/concerns. 11. Follows all company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety procedures. 12. Performs other related duties as assigned and may operate equipment for/during events. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. \ Educations/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferable 1-2 years’ experience in a supervisory position Communication: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of an organization. Math Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form, problem solving skills, ability to escalate issues to management appropriately. Certifications and Licenses: Valid Virginia Driver’s license with good driving record. Must meet insurance underwriting requirements. The employee will be regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, climb balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to task or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus.
