Position Overview: Lead Technicians are responsible for what happens on their crews, at their job sites, and the satisfaction of all customers they come in contact with. A Lead Tech works with other technicians in a team environment, delegating responsibilities, and keeping mental control over the work being performed. This position is more than just being a good technician, it is about being a Leader. You will be trained to be able to do and accomplish: Window Cleaning - Cleaning the entire window, not just the glass, using a detailed oriented process Window operation and function of all styles; Pella, casement, storm, refrigerator etc. Proper use of all ladder types, and associated safety equipment Knowledge of how to work on all roof types, proper use of fall protection equipment Safely able to use a razor blade to scrape paint and other debris from glass Able to use a stationary pole (stick) to wash windows at height Accurately clean glass using two hands in many forms Able to work at an efficiency rate of $135 ECR Fewer than 2 call-backs in a pay period Screen Repair - Replacement of fiberglass mesh, corners, pull tabs, and springs on site. Able to properly identify what screens styles we can make, repair, or replace. Gutter Cleaning - all process and procedures Pressure Washing - all process and procedures Accurately perform Estimates of all types following protocol Dryer Vent Cleaning - able to identify pipe & vent, clean, reconnect, test, and explain Properly conduct an interview for the Technician or Flyering position Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities include being on time and in uniform for Line Up. All representatives of Deja View are to conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times, and to always treat our customers with respect. All Lead Technicians are also responsible for their safety and to help communicate any safety concerns that might come up with their crew. The Lead Tech is our liaison to the customer. It is their responsibility to carry out the work ordered by the customer, delegate tasks to technicians, and to complete each job to Deja View standards. All items on daily checklists are to be completed thoroughly, and are the sole responsibility of the Lead. By day's end, all jobs should be done well and invoiced or paid with money turned in. All equipment should be in good condition, returned, and cleaned. All training should be completed and accounted for, and time clocks/ stopwatch records accurate.
