Art Tutor in the Fairfax area for students grades 5-12 specializing in graphite and charcoal! If you're looking for a skill your child can build over the summer, this is the perfect activity. Art sharpens the mind and opens many doors, plus it's a lot of fun. Children under grade 5 are not typically accepted but can be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. It's a personal belief of mine to build on the style a child has already developed on their own and hone it to the best possible skill level. Sessions are 45 minutes long and can focus on subjects such as portrait drawing, still life/memento mori, other fundamentals, and more. Parents are welcome to sit in on the sessions to assure their child's comfort as well as their own.
