Department: Maintenance Job Type: Full Time Hours: 40 Hours per Week Location: 5220 SW 91st Terrace, Gainesville, FL 32608 Description This role is responsible for general maintenance including painting, assisting other maintenance staff with daily duties, and keeping buildings, facilities, and restrooms in a clean and orderly condition. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are required. Position Responsibilities • Paint fences & parking spaces • Cleaning buildings and stairwells on a schedule. • Gather and empty trash. • Service, clean, and supply restrooms. • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. • Notify supervisor concerning the need for major repair or additions in the common area • Complete appropriate requisition for supplies and equipment as needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing work. • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, & Ability • An ability to follow oral and written directions, fill out task logs, and keep all applicable areas clean, and in working order. Special Requirements Physical Demands: Stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel and balance regularly. Lift and adjust objects up to 50 lbs. Must maintain safety procedures at all times to avoid injury.
