Essential duties and responsibilities is to perform routine custodial maintenance, cleaning, and grounds keeping tasks for the restaurant dining area, kitchen, bathrooms, stairways, entryways, and grounds. The Maintenance Custodian typical duties performed are cleaning, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, washing, buffing and waxing floors, washing windows, furniture maintenance, painting, changing light bulbs, maintaining grounds, sweeping walkways, cutting lawns, landscaping, removing snow and ice, caring for custodial equipment, emptying wastebaskets, removing trash, operating pressure cleaning equipment, making minor repairs to buildings, equipment, preventive maintenance to heating, lighting, ventilating, and plumbing systems. Preferred candidates should have maintenance and custodial experience, are self motivated and take pride in a clean, safe, work environment with well maintained equipment.
