We are looking for someone to work with our current warehouse manager to help manage the materials, tools, and equipment for our service company. We have approximately 30-35 techs who are workingout of our warehouse daily. We need someone who can be responsible for helping to manage all of the materials, tools, and equipment that go in and out of our shop/warehouse daily. Someone to accept and receive deliveries and inventory our material stock, etc. We service locations around Southwestern PA performing multiple trades such as plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting, painting, and more. We have recently opened a new branch in Columbus so our former Pittsburgh assistant has relocated there to become warehouse manager in that branch. We perform a high volume of service calls everyday so we stock a lot of materials, tools, and equipment. We need somebody who pays attention to detail, is diligent about record keeping of the location of tools they send out. Someone who can get along with dozens of different personalities. The warehouse management team is responsible for keeping track of all incoming deliveries, stocking those parts, and knowing which department all materials are for. They will notify the respective department manager of their incoming deliveries. They will also run errands for the company when needed, assist with dropping off and picking up vehicles when needed, renting equipment as needed, and may also be asked to help out on work sites during emergencies. They will have to deliver tools and materials to job sites occasionally. So A drivers license is mandatory. Having some experience in the building trades is a plus because this position deals with all types of trade parts. Health insurance is available with the company paying 75% of the premium.
