BOULDER, CO — Boulder is the 23rd most charitable city in the country, according to a new study. With Thanksgiving, Giving Tuesday and the holidays fast approaching, charitable giving will likely drop across the nation as many people struggle financially during the pandemic, according to the SmartAsset report. But the study didn't just look at who has the most money to give — the valuable donation of time was also taken into consideration. No other Colorado city made it onto the top 35 list. The study compared 171 metro areas using metrics such as volunteerism and charitable contributions.
