BOULDER COUNTY, CO — Over the past week, 1,505 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Boulder County, according to the latest public health data.
As of Thursday, 9,362 people in the county had tested positive for the virus since the outbreak began. The death toll reached 112 after 10 deaths were reported over the past week.
Around 306 people have been hospitalized since the outbreak began, according to Boulder County Public Health. More than 145,000 people have been tested in the county.
The University of Colorado Boulder, which has moved all its classes online, reported 16 new cases Thursday. The university's shift to 100 percent remote learning was originally set to begin after the Thanksgiving break, but the university decided to make the move earlier amid climbing coronavirus rates.
