The zoo's Coffee Shop is not open due to social distancing measures, however changes are planned and information will be updated on our website. COVID Safety: The zoo requires all visitors ages 2 and over to bring and wear masks at all times while on zoo grounds due to potential for close proximity to others on some of our narrow trails, boardwalks and bridges. For those interested, we sell a variety of fun animal masks which are pandemic-safe in our Gift Shop. A minimum of 6 feet should be kept between visitor groups at all times. Trail and Winter Safety: The zoo is primarily outdoors with limited warming locations. Visitors should dress warmly for the weather conditions with head and hand coverings as well as warm winter boots. Trails are lit however we encourage visitors to be careful in darker areas. Boardwalks and bridges may sometimes be slick. All trails, boardwalks and bridges are graveled and maintained daily by facility staff. Our Gift Shop sells warm mittens, head coverings and other winter accessories. Toys for Tots: The zoo partners with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve each year to have a Toys for Tots toy drop off location in our Gift Shop. The bin to accept new and unwrapped toys will be there now through the week of December 7th. The toys will be given to children and families in need during this holiday season. Our Gift Shop has a wonderful selection of children's toys for purchase, so buy a toy in our gift shop to donate and support both the zoo and families in need of holiday gifts during this challenging holiday season. Thank you!
