2000's Emo Cover Band Seeking Musicians

Full disclosure, I'm only one guy (play guitar/bass and sing) but have years of experience recording, touring, and writing (just so you know I'm not some newbie to the game). I live in Raleigh and am willing to travel for the right people. I'm 33, so 00's Emo is pretty nostalgic for my generation. I didn't even really like the genre back when I was a teen but have found myself going back to it as I get older. If bands like Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Thrice, Jimmy Eat World, etc. bring you back to your youth, you know exactly what I'm talking about. The Vision - To play some localish shows and make cash on the side. As places begin to open up post-Covid, especially during the summer, venues/bars will be hiring bands to entertain patrons. Original bands are fine, but cover bands draw a crowd if done correctly, and 2000's Emo nostalgia is a powerful feeling to awaken. The memories, emotions and experiences that kind of music elicits brings us back to the "simpler" times of our youth. You've seen it done with 90's cover bands for the Gen X'ers and early Millennials, but now is a good time for 2000's Emo to take over. What I'm looking for - You don't need to be a "pro" musician but being able to play by ear, read music, or understand some theory will really help. It would also be good to be familiar with the 2000's Emo genre. I need to build a band, so these are the positions I'm seeking: 2nd guitarist and/or Bassist Drummer Singer (I can sing but a more proficient vocalist would be preferred) What I bring to the table: A plan and vision 15 years experience recording, touring, and writing Guitar, Bass, and Vocal equipment I'm open to creative ideas, so if you think of something that I haven't mentioned above, send me an email.
