Job Overview: The driver is primarily responsible for assisting with movements of finished goods, oak barrels and miscellaneous items between the company’s locations as well as inventory transfers and receipts transactions. This role will be required to drive a commercial vehicle based on business needs. Additionally, the driver will assist with the picking, palletizing, shipping and receiving of orders as well as organization and maintenance of the warehouse. Essential Duties (include but are not limited to the following): Assisting in deliveries to The Bruery’s tasting room and multiple warehouses Pick and receive orders Sort, organize and file receipts Palletize and shrink-wrap finished product safely for movement Load and unload delivery trucks and containers Safely operate propane and electric forklifts and pallet jacks Arrange warehouse and cold box in an organized fashion and keep all warehouse areas clean at all times Keep accurate records and reports Assist with physical inventory of packaging supplies and finished products Other brewery related tasks that may require assistance Essential Requirements: Ability to operate a forklift, or after training, to become proficient within 5 days of hire Must possess a Class B CDL Ability to safely drive a 20’ refrigeration box truck Must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record Knowledge of safe warehouse operations, safety policies and procedures Basic knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Word and SAP or similar ERP systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Organized and accurate record keeping The preferred candidate will have past experience in brewing, cellar, packaging, warehousing or production environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel and talk or hear; lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; sit, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to crawl, taste or smell.
