Bass guitar player wanted for punk trio

My name is Dean (mohawk in pic) and I live in Oregon City. I play guitar and sing with my band mate Hunter (leather man in pic) who also plays guitar. You can call us Pit and Rusty, respectively. Currently we have a drum machine for percussion, and we switch off on different songs for bass guitar. I have written fitting bass lines for every song we currently have. Our band is called 25INBOMB, named for the research chemical of the same name. Our themes include Chinese culture, satirical sleaze rock, deceptive drugs, harm reduction, terrorism, urban decay, economic devastation; malevolent entities and psychosis. Our influences include Big Black, Motörhead koi, Black Flag, Stooges, Minutemen, Public Image Ltd., Cramps, MC5, Bauhaus, Suicide, Wire, James Brown, Rick James; Butthole Surfers and Sonic Youth. We love kratom, dirt bowls, cigarettes and cigarette breaks, critical thinking and analysis, ideological and philosophical sparring, leftist theory and debate, history, LOUD music, intense situations, safe and tested drugs, interesting situations and characters/people, random creative endeavors apart from the band itself; and discovering new sounds. We dislike people who are lacking in resilience, do not have dedication or willpower, or are unwilling to adapt. We also dislike stagnation, dishonesty, corruption, disingenuous acts; and neurotic impulses of the scene to shut out newcomers and controversial people. We sometimes get into extracurricular activities, such as: networking/meeting people in person, writing songs together, meeting other bands/going to relevant shows, promotion using wheat paste flyers, odd jobs, etc. Things will come up as we play together more, as they always do. Above all else, we’re willing to try out anyone for our band as long as they have a passion for music and are able to practice with us. -D.W
