We are a small hobby farm that has a variety of unique livestock. We are searching for a person that will help with morning and afternoon chores. Chores include: providing the animals with hay/feed/water and picking up after them and assisting with their general care. Assisting in giving tours to guests of the farm will also be required. The ideal candidate would have prior livestock experience, but would be willing to learn and adapt to the procedures that we already have in place at our property. Ability to lift 60 pounds is a requirement. This person must be self-motivated, friendly, people-oriented, and reliable. This position will require both weekday and some weekend shifts. This position is a seasonal position through the end of October. However, depending on the needs of the farm and the quality of the candidate, it could potentially be year-round.
