Stolen Outrigger Canoe

Sometime between 7:00 pm Friday night and 6:30 am Saturday morning, my three-man outrigger canoe was stolen from Po'ipu Beach next to the Marriott Waiohai Beach Club. This canoe has been in Po'ipu for years, so many people know the canoe. It is approximately 15 ft. long and painted bright yellow with red trim and yellow ama. It is used to provide rides to our guests, occasionally for spreading ashes and for general fun paddling and surfing. Whoever took this canoe knows it was there and obviously knows the area. It had to have been placed on either a truck or trailer to move it. This canoe is a distinct three-man, so even it is painted or modified, there are certain things only the owner would know about it and can recognize it. If this was a prank, put the canoe back where it was and congratulations on a great prank. There has been a police report made and many eyes are looking out for it. If the people that took it are planning on using it or selling it, you obviously don't believe in Kharma or bad juju. You do not steal other people's belongings. What has this island come to?
