Description
We are seeking a part-time Household Manager/Personal Assistant in Fernandina Beach, Florida. This person will be responsible for the standard upkeep of a mid-sized townhome located in the Amelia Island Plantation area and will provide personal assistance to the homeowner and her friendly dog.
Tasks include cleaning the home, cooking, laundry, running errands, transporting family members, and supervising home repair (when needed).
Responsibilities include:
* General upkeep of the house, including light cleaning, general maintenance, laundry, mail collection, trash, etc.
* Oversee and manage contractors and homeowner association staff to ensure the property is neatly and properly maintained.
* Handle things around the home (e.g., receiving deliveries, service providers, contractors, sending emails, going through mail and sorting bills and junk, etc.) and undertaking organizational projects.
* Run errands (e.g., shopping for groceries, furnishings, etc).
* Maintain vehicle, fill gas tank, take for service appointments and keep accurate records of services completed
* Pet care, including taking pets to veterinarian appointments and regular dog walking.
This is a part-time position, 16-20 hours a week, and is a good fit for students or professionals looking for a second job. Schedule can be flexible based on other commitments, but should include at least several weekdays. Pay is $18-20/hr, dependent on experience.
