Come celebrate Roosevelt community, culture, diversity & pride through music, art & poetry. There'll be a DJ, food vendors, prizes & more! Roosevelt will be hosting its 2nd Annual Poetry Slam: Ride the Verse, during National Poetry Month, April 2022. Join us to celebrate Roosevelt community, culture, diversity and pride through music, art and poetry. There will be a DJ, food vendors, prizes and more. Please bring your own blanket or chair. Performances start at 6pm sharp. Doors open at 5:30pm. All proceeds from the event go to: Friends of Roosevelt High School, a 501(C)3 non-profit dedicated to Roosevelt HS.
