Learn about IslandWood's graduate program in Education for Environment and Community (EEC) in an Adventure Race on our Bainbridge Campus! Are you considering IslandWood's foundational graduate program in Education for Environment and Community (EEC), offered in partnership with the University of Washington? This 10-month teaching residency prepares culturally-responsive educators capable of catalyzing community and environmental stewardship. Visit the campus on Bainbridge Island in a unique and exciting way! Team up with current grads and alumni to explore our Bainbridge Island campus, and learn from current grads about their experience in the program. During this visit, you will: Explore the campus. Tour our campus and meet others in the greater EEC community in adventure race teams led by current graduate students. Meet some staff and faculty responsible for delivering this innovative program. Learn more about admissions and funding opportunities. Gain insight into the application process and financial aid available to IslandWood students from people who went through that process themselves. Connect with current graduate students. Hear what the EEC graduate experience is like from the people experiencing it first-hand. WHO Prospective students, recently admitted applicants, EEC alumni, or anyone interested in learning more about the Education for Environment & Community Graduate Certificate Program are invited to register. This is a chance to engage with the extended EEC Community! Availability is limited, register soon. WHAT This campus visit is centered around an adventure race style scavenger hunt, designed for exploration of and engagement with our 250-acre Bainbridge Island Campus! You will also have opportunities to meet with members of the IslandWood & EEC community including connecting with current graduate students. Demonstrated interest, as shown by attending any campus event, is not a factor in admission to IslandWood's graduate program in Education for Environment and Community.
