CROFTON, MD — The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce Fall Blood Drive will be held Oct. 15 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the chamber office, 2126 Espey Ct., Suite A, in Crofton. The blood drive benefits patients at Anne Arundel County Medical Center. One pint of blood can save up to three lives. To donate blood, people must be: Be between 17 and 74 years old; 16 with parental consent Be in good health;Weigh at least 110 pounds.Be sure to eat iron-rich foods beforehand and drink an extra 16 ounces before the appointment.
