Meet Alexander Hamilton, portrayed by veteran reenactor, Ian Rose. This event is sponsored by the Colchester Historical Society Save the Date for a visit by George Washington’s Aide de Camp and our nation’s first Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton, portrayed by veteran reenactor, Ian Rose. Wearing period clothing, Ian Rose inhabits Alexander Hamilton while sharing stories from his illegitimate birth, his remarkable career, and finally his untimely death at the hands of Aaron Burr. Join us to experience the man that inspired the blockbuster play, Hamilton! This free event, with donations encouraged to benefit the Colchester Historical Society’s free programs, will be held on Sunday, April 24th, 3:00 pm at the Colchester Federated Church, the site of Colchester’s first Meeting House.
