Description
Through no fault of her own, we are in a position to have to re-home our pit, Cupcake.
We are around Tulsa, Oklahoma.
She will be 2 on June 15.
She is not fixed yet as we were waiting for her to turn 2. All puppy shots were done and she was just due for her yearly (we got her late February last year, so shots in march). We had a major unexpected expense that sunk us, so I have not been able to get her shots yet this year. We do rabies and all shots recommended for kenneling.
She knows sit. She knows down (lay). She does jump on you, especially when she first meets you, but will generally respond well to get down. She loves kisses. She is crate trained and potty trained. She can clear a 4 ft fence without trying so I do go outside with her when she is out. She will go to the fence but if I call her name she backs off of it. We have used a 25 foot chain when outside if we can't monitor and she does fine with it too.
She is an inside dog though, I do not want her going to a home where she is going to be left outside for long periods of time.
She loves kids. She plays well with our Dane mix and did well with our gsd before gsd passed. She does have food issues when it comes to other dogs though. We just feed separately. We can mess with her food while she's eating with no issues, it's specifically that she doesn't share food well with other dogs.
She has never been around cats, so I don't know how she would do. I know she does chase squirrels and is very stubborn in that pursuit. So I don't know that she won't chase cats.
She is very food driven, she loves treats. She is very cuddly and will climb you for loves.
She is also high energy. Her breed and the fact that she is young contribute a lot I'm sure. We joke that we need to get her a treadmill.
There will be a rehoming fee.
