My name is Justin, I'm a guitarist and singer. I would like to start up a band playing mostly funky stuff and a little soul, original music and covers. To start I'm thinking of doing mostly instrumentals with a couple vocal songs here and there. I want to make sure that we can really groove before putting much focus on vocals. I'm thinking it would be good to start out small, me on guitar, then drums, bass and keys. Then maybe down the road add horns, percussion, second guitar... To start I'm thinking in the vibe of The Meters, Vulf Peck, Booker T and the MGs... then maybe expand to James Brown, Tower of Power, Al Green, Otis Redding kind of stuff, if we decide to add more band members. I rent a practice space in Erving, but I'm also willing to practice other places, I live in Shelburne. Hit me up if you think you might be interested and are willing to gig often and travel around New England to do so, once we get rolling
