Hello! I am looking for painters for my small company. I could use one person full time now and need several or more people for this summer, where my jobs are mostly exterior residential houses. Experience is not necessary, although if you have experience that’s fantastic. What I am looking for is someone that cares about the job they do- it’s important to me that the homeowners feel like the job is excellent and not just slopped on. I guarantee my work, so I need it done well the first time. (I can teach you along the way). Characteristics I am looking for: Reliability Takes instruction Flexibility Honest/ Trustworthy What I love about painting houses in the summer is what I hope attracts you to this job as well. I love being outside, listening to podcasts or music on my headphones and transforming a space. I love the sunshine and the reward in a job well done. I realize it is summer and people have plans and am flexible around that. I believe that our lives and the people in them are the most important thing, not your employer. So I want someone who can be reliable and show up, but also knows that I am flexible and will give them the space to do other things in their lives. Because I built this company as just me and am just now building it into something bigger, I can’t offer any other benefits besides an hourly wage at this moment. As I grow and figure out everything I hope to offer more. My starting wage that I offer is $22 an hour. I’d love if you’d come join me this summer!
