Position responsibilities include: Daily maintenance of equipment and vehicle fleet Inspecting vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation/changes, replacing filters and all other routine maintenance Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures, repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs; utilizing Fleeteo for record keeping maintenance Keeps shop equipment operating optimally by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance Contains costs by informed and researched part procurement Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems Diagnose and repair electrical systems of trucks, trailers, and equipment. Diagnose and repair air systems including brakes and suspension Ability to repair and maintain smaller gas-powered engines and equipment used in landscape maintenance Capable of driving a truck and trailer Understand parts diagrams and owner’s manuals in order to order parts and repair Capable of operating and communicating with a smartphone and/or tablet for work order processing PC competent Strong and thorough communication skills Required Qualifications: Speak English Must be 18 years of age Valid driver’s license Acceptable driving record Job Type: Full-time Compensation: Cell Phone allowance Work vehicle for all tasks after arrival at the shop Eligible for Medical Benefits at 60 days: Retirement plan and PTO after 1 year Job Type: Full-time Pay: DOE Based on Experience
