This event was designed to bring people together, clean up a high-littered area, and celebrate The Parks Alliance. Join The Parks Alliance Greener Society for a pre-Earth Day event to help clean up litter on the banks of the White River! On Thursday, April 21 we will pick up trash along the White River Trail starting at 30th Street brige and ending at 38th Street underpass. This will be an interactive event that includes walking, possibly bending over when needed, and carrying picked up trash to designated areas for pickup. T-shirt, gloves, trash bags, and pickers will be provided for volunteers to use for the designated time. This event will take place outside, at The Parks Alliance's newly relocated office along the White River. Water and light snacks will be provided but we ask that all participants bring their own refillable water bottle. After the cleanup, all attendees are invited to Guggman Haus Brewery for a giveback night benefitting The Parks Alliance!
