The GBM will be a discussion around Austin's unhoused initiative and an introduction to various black-led organizations on the frontlines. The unhoused community in Austin is in need of our help. Our April general body meeting will be a discussion around Austin's unhoused initiative and an introduction to some of Austin's frontline organizations. We will discuss the unhoused initiative, offer ways for members to get involved, and solicit more donations for the unhoused community. We hope that by providing this information, we can encourage more people to get involved and help make a difference. At this event, we’re asking every attendee to bring an in-kind donation of essential items and nonperishable goods for our unhoused neighbors.
