Join us as we honor Melody Booker-Wilkins INFORMATION ABOUT US AND EVENT: To date, The Melody Joy Foundation has been donated $10,000.00 to (2) local organizations located right here in Sussex County Delaware. Both Kent-Sussex Industries and Cancer Support Community Delaware were two of our recipients in 2017 and 2019. Due to the COVID Pandemic we could not host the event in 2021, however, we are excited to be back in 2022 honoring our friend, Melody Booker-Wilkins on Friday, May 27, 2022. Melody Joy Booker-Wilkins lost her battle to cancer 6 years ago. The Melody Joy Foundation’s mission is to give back, give “joy”, and spread good cheer. This memorable event will not only allow us an opportunity to celebrate her life and memory, it will raise money for a local scholarship that will be given in Melody’s honor and Board of Directors will help to determine other recipients in need within our community through financial assistance.
