Play it with Pride 4 is a sand tourney to help Star City Pride raise funds for the 2022 Pride Festival & Lincoln's 2nd Annual Pride Parade! Star City Pride is hosting this sand volleyball tournament as a fundraiser for the 2022 Pride Festival. This event is an opportunity to gather with friends and allies for some friendly competition while supporting Star City Pride and the local LGBTQIA community! General Information Cost - $180/Team ($30/Person) Competition will be split into two divisions: 6x6 Competitive and 6x6 RecreationalTeams: OPEN FORMAT (Any combination of male, female, non-binary players)Organizers reserve the right to restructure divisions as neededCheck-in - begins at 8:30am, with Pool Play beginning at 9am. Pool play wins/losses will determine seeding for a single-elimination tournament in each division. Prizes: 1) Medals will be awarded to 1st , 2nd, and 3rd Place teams, in both divisions! 2) SIX (6) FREE WEEKEND PASSES to the 2020 Star City Pride Festival (June 17th and 18th) will be awarded to the winning team in each division! $120 Value! 3) CASH PRIZE (Competitive Division) - 20% of Competitive Team Registrations 4) Event Shirts are INCLUDED in the registration price! Up to SIX complementary shirts per team registration. 5) Win amazing raffle prizes! Deadline to Register is NOON on Friday, May 13th! Registrations must be paid in full prior to play. Every attempt will be made to place you on a team in your desired division.FAQ Can I pay at the door? Yes. To pay on-site, follow the link to the Eventbrite Page and select Pay At Door as your payment method. What can I bring into the event? We ask that you please do not bring any outside food or drink into the complex (I.E. coolers, fast food, or any alcoholic beverages). You will be able to order food and drink throughout the day from our tourney hosts, Spikes Beach Bar and Grille! Which division should I play in? Competitive: You're pretty good and you are here to win (while having fun). Recreational: You're pretty good and you are here to have fun (and winning would be nice, but hey, whatever). What COVID precautions will there be? We ask that all competitors and attendees follow any local health directives, if any, and also follow any rules and requirements Spikes may have in place.
