Heart of Texas Shooting Center will be hosting our first shooting competition on Sunday, April 24, in conjunction with our First Anniversary Heart of Texas Shooting Center will be hosting our first shooting competition on Sunday, April 24, in conjunction with our First Anniversary celebration. The competition will be comprised of six divisions, four bullseye, and two defensive. The defensive categories involve a course of fire designed by our own Chief RSO to test your reactive shooting skills. The divisions are as follows: Junior Rimfire Rifle Bullseye (17 and under)Rimfire Rifle BullseyeRimfire Pistol BullseyeOpen Pistol BullseyeDefensive RifleDefensive PistolThe Bullseye events are all 25-yard shooting distance, open sight competitions. The Open Pistol division can be shot with any non-rimfire caliber.. The Top 3 places in each division will receive prizes, and the winner in each Division will have their name engraved on our commemorative plaque that will be displayed prominently in our range.  This is an amateur-only event and registrations are limited so don't delay!
