The Salvation Army is hosting a Community Resource Fair on the Big Day of Giving, May 5, in Sacramento. It takes a village to change a life, therefore we're bringing the village under one roof for an afternoon! The Salvation Army is inviting members of the community and our community partners to join us on our Alhambra Campus, located at 2550 Alhambra Blvd., in the heart of the Oak Park neighborhood for a Community Resource Fair. The goal is to facilitate connections between our community's social and safety net programs and our underserved resident populations. The event will be free for the public to attend. Along with information on various community resources available, there will also be food, games, music and fun! Think of it as an old-fashioned block party. Interested vendors will need to RSVP via email to [email protected] or by phone at (916) 563-3734. Vendor participation fee is either $35 per table or donation of a gift that can be used as a door prize at the event.
