Join us for our next Faith Driven Entrepreneur Luncheon. We are honored to have Shelley Prevost as our speaker. The life of an entrepreneur is full of many joys but also numerous challenges. There is the ability to create meaningful products and services for others, but often times there can be feelings of extreme loneliness. There is the chance to provide life changing work for employees, but also the burden of meeting financial quotas. Founders can earn the praise of the public, while at the same time the fiduciary scrutiny of investors. The ups and downs of this journey can feel isolating and often discouraging with no clear person to share the struggle with. Christians working in this space are not immune to these challenges. Understanding how to trust God in this journey can feel daunting. With this in mind, CFWC is partnering with Faith Driven Entrepreneur to host quarterly gatherings for founders, freelance workers, and those in the startup space. The desire for these events is to create regular opportunities for entrepreneurs to gathers, make new connections, and hear encouraging stories of how God is faithful even in the ups and downs of a business journey. The next event will be a luncheon Thursday, May 19, from 11:45am-1:15pm at FEED Table & Tavern. Lunch will be served and you will the chance to meet and share stories with other founders who are navigating what it means to lead an endeavor while also faithfully following Christ. We are excited to have Dr. Shelley Prevost, founder of The Big Self School, as our speaker. She will be sharing about her journey of starting businesses and where that journey has led her.
