Wine, as a beverage and as an idea, has had its essence and simplicity stolen from the general public by a conniving and pretentious modern wine industry bent on rarifying and mystifying it. Ashwin, something like a reformed sommelier, returns to Sakartvelo (Georgia), the birthplace of wine, in search of a better understanding of wine's simplicity and accessibility that he can share with the western world. In Georgia everybody is allowed to enjoy wine without feeling lost, ignorant or belittled - and this documentary means to show you why.
