Looking for a complementary person to bounce song ideas off of who has a little bit of knowledge of DIY recording production. Nothing too serious or professional, sometimes limited ability can be of benefit if you know what I mean. Noob magic, heh heh.. Have a few nugget ideas for songs I'd like to possibly develop. Can record a bit but someone who has a little technical ability with similar musical taste could be very helpful in the creation process. I like a lot of different music, from classical to obscure electronic German bands, but suppose something like the French band Air (such as the 10,000 Hz Legend and Moon Safari albums) is the sound being aimed for. Kind of electronic yet kind of acoustic at times. Simple lyrics, if any lyrics at all. You know, how one good song could just be one sentence or a few words repeated over and over. Perhaps some vocoder vocals on top of acoustic guitar, maybe guitar distortion on occasion, some synth sounds and a chill beat, sometimes maybe a rockin' beat. Tell me a bit about yourself and if you have any samples of anything you've made you could direct me to, that would be helpful. Thankya much.
